If you're taking a tape output off of the Brio, try taking the preamp out instead (after the Brio volume control). You can also turn up the gain on the Mac side, but you'll get a cleaner signal from the Brio. Of course if you're just using the stock Mac sound, you can improve things with a better sound card -- I'd recommend the MAudio Audiophile 24/96 (http://www.midiman.net) or the Echo Mia (http://www.echoaudio.com) On Fri, 1 Feb 2002, Jif Beaulieu wrote:
