First off, for simplicity you might want to look at Pipewave, DSP units that are kind of nifty, with source code. Here's the link: http://www.cf.ac.uk/psych/CullingJ/pipewave.html Okay, then for deeper DSP stuff. Harmony Central has some decent information on how certain effects work with links to source code and other stuff. Try: http://www.harmony-central.com/Effects/ Here is a free book that you can download that covers the basics of DSP. I think it's pretty great: http://www.dspguide.com/ There is the music-DSP mailing list: http://shoko.calarts.edu/~glmrboy/musicdsp/music-dsp.html And the music DSP source code archive: http://www.smartelectronix.com/musicdsp/old.php Hope that helps! __________________________________________ Christopher Sorg Multimedia Artist Adjunct Professor The School of the Art Institute of Chicago http://csorg.cjb.net csorg@artic.edu --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
