How about Mice Parade? All instruments played live apparently (though fuck knows how as it's all very intricate), put down live on multitrack. Not strictly IDM - it's got more in common with MBV/Tortoise/Steve Reich, but the Mokoondi album is pure class. Dan. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ hey does anyone out there know of folks who do non-cut-and-paste IDM? I mean, ok everyone has acid and logic and god knows what else, but who just lets stuff run on a multitrack recorder and deal with the consequences. I suppose this question could be rephrased: is there any non-file-tweaker IDM at all, or does the very definition bust the definition of IDM and become something like indie instead? yeah, I know, I'm rhetorical as fuck ... sosumi! d.stroganoff Email: Dan.Shoebridge@opsroom.co.uk CONFIDENTIALITY This communication contains information which is confidential and may also be priviledged.
