I wasn't that impressed by "Appetite". The "instrumental" numbers sound
like Tri Repetae era Ae, but less interesting, and the rap/vocal numbers
sound like someone rapping or singing over Tri Repeatae era Ae, with
little effort to integrate the human noises with the machine noises.
The album isn't _bad_, per se, it's just that if you like the
straight-up IDM you'd be better off listening to other Ae or Ae-inspired
material (md, brothomstates) and if you like the glitch-hop, you'd be
better off listening to Machine Drum or East Flatbush Project. (If
anyone can recommend a better implementation of the trip-hop chanteuse
vs. IDM material, I'd appreciate it.)
As always, YMMV.
