I agree with you 100%. The music you have just mentioned is also some of my favorite. You can always continue on in the vein you are currently in. Another good Funckarma release is Parts. This one is relatively easy to find. They also have a bunch of EPs that more or less make up Parts with a few other tracks thrown in. They are called Parts 1-4, these are a little trickier to locate, but well worth the search. Funckarma also has some releases out under the name Cenik on the Isophlux label. Very very good stuff. You may have located the Nummer Drie and Nummer Een comps, if not definitely look for them. Like Men With Boxes they are also excellent Dub compilations. If you have a mini-disc player you should goto the website for n5md (www.n5md.com/) and check out the MD 1 and MD 2 compilations, you'll find some Funckarma and other wonderful treats on these. As far as more melancholy melodies and the luscious crunchy beats go, you may look into Sense, M-Tec, Proem and Machine Drum's other personae Syndrone. There are many others, but I don't want to subject you to information overload. If you want a longer list, or perhaps some help finding these titles, drop me a line privately. -Chris www.mimeticmusic.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
