my first exposure to Autechre was buying a used copy of ep7 for my buddy who
makes computer music (almost 4 years ago). neither of us had ever heard
them, and i remember listening to the disc for the first time while driving
through upstate ny countryside... "what the hell is this?!" we both said,
unfortunately in disdain, for we cast aside the beloved AE, and only about a
year ago did i pick it back up and realize what it was. then i got Confield
and was (eventually) floored and transformed, so i ask you...
WHAT ARE THE BOMB BACKLIST AUTECHRE RELEASES?!?!
i'm really looking for more beat-heavy stuff, maybe a little less washy
(i've got plenty of that in Confield, i need no more). i think my favorite
AE track thus far is the first one on Peel2 (that shit has a horrifically
infectious groove)... so, where can i find more like this?
ChiasticSlide reissue? Tri Repetae?
