I was bemused to see that The Wire's 50 Records of the Year list failed to
mention Confield - in fact it wasn't mentioned anywhere in anyone's thoughts
(including the Electronica records of the year list). I know it hasn't found
favour with a lot of people, but still.
Adam, if you're looking for visceral I'd recommend anything between 70 and
75 by Miles Davis, particularly Dark Magus or On The Corner, otherwise what
about Jungle circa 93/94. Some of the Oval stuff to my ears is a little
reminiscent of Confield.

I guess this is why I love Confield... and the fact it seems to refuse to be
consumed/assimilated in the way that their previous releases are susceptible
to being. I wonder what Sean and Rob are up to now... what are they cooking
up?
