I don't know...it's not like this isn't an experimental record. It's got plenty of weird things happening to at least make an old lady twitch unintentionally. True it's not an abrassive record, but it makes a lot of use of drilling and grinding (which we've heard a lot of lately, even with damn N'Sync). It's a very melodic record, but it doesn't really recall the early AI stuff. This record says there's hope for new IDM to be melodic AND groundbreaking. And yes, I'd say this is a groundbreaking record. A lot of people may not see it, but I think a lot of producers will recognize it as such. You're right about one thing for sure: this record lacks serious balls.
