I have a track titled 'BushOnIraq91' sitting on my hard drive that I suspect would fit your bill - but unfortunately I have no idea where I got it. Probably someone on some mailing list I'm on posted a link to it. If anyone can identify this I'd be grateful. It's a sound collage of Bush (the 1st one) speaking, mostly regarding Iraq, with some rather nice backing music. It sounds somewhat ECCish? examples (may not be quite right): "We're the only nation on this earth" "Why we are in the gulf...not to destroy better life...control of the world's oil resources...peace...the right to speak out" "freedom...glory and deadly conflict...Our cause is moral, our cause is right." etc in this vein. It's rather interesting to contrast the things said with the current situation. Also, I suspect there is more ECC that would be applicable, as well as some stuff by negativland. I've heard a bunch more things in this vein that unfortunately don't come to mind immediately. Anyways, It'd be interesting if you posted the final list of tracks so that we could see what you come up with - I really like sound collage type stuff, and would like to see what else in this vein exists beyond what I've heard in the past. -kyle r On Wed, Dec 12, 2001 at 04:24:51PM -0500, Adam Wendt wrote:
