ok i just do not understand all the love reviewers et
al have given the strokes. i didn't really like their
album that much but decided to see them in nashville,
tn over thanksgiving all the same.. and left after two
songs because they were so insanely bad. why do ppl
like the strokes??
and why do they like daft punk? just sounds like
boring french house to me.
and why do ppl like hte gorillaz for that matter. i'll
give them aesthetically pleasing videos but i won't
give em any more than that. just plain boring. good
for about three listens and no more.
please, someone, why do i hate these albums when
everyone else loves them???

i thought this was an incredibly lousy album but now i
have listened to a few more times and it's growing on
me.
but still i think it's quite overrated. but maybe ther
ewas no way it could live up to all the hype i heard,
read about it.
