Yea... looks a tad disappointing. That's what you get for putting Steve Albini in charge of curating. I remember reading some interview or something with him in a book a while back and he was slamming the use of sampling as not being a legitimate way of creating music. He went on to bash recording digitally and how its got to be on analog tape or whatever. However, this was from sometime in the early nineties or something so I'm sure he's had to rethink his whole elitist stance on all that stuff. It wouldn't be very cool and "indie" to hate on people using protools or cubase to record their stuff DIY and avoiding the tremendous costs of an analog studio. At least they've got Melt Banana playing. They fucking rock the house. -Aaron
