absolutely true. i was rather disappointed that squarepusher had taken ill
and was not to appear at the chicago show in august along with mira calix
and plaid, and having never heard of slicker and seeing him on the bill
outside as we walked up, i had my initial doubts, peppered with frustration
that it was just some shitty dj they picked up in a panic to fill some time.
very much to the contrary, i was incredibly impressed and bought his new
release on the spot. much sexy.
