Sorry, I was a little vague with that statement. I did not mean to imply
that Scott Herren first to fuse IDM and hip hop. More likely he consummated
the relationship. What I was referring is that there seems to a camp that
considers Prefuse 73 a derivative of Machine Drum and degrades it
accordingly. This is not to say I dislike Machine Drum, its a solid album.
