Yeah kelley, but you're not saying that the new stuff should be like the
old stuff. You know what you like; you know what you're looking for.
You're not buying new releases under the assumption that it's going to
sound like older stuff.
You're wary of new releases because you *know* they probably don't sound
like what you're looking for. You don't buy the newest Autechre thinking
it'll sound like old Stasis and then get all pissed when it doesn't, right?
You already know that it's something you probably don't like, and just
don't buy it.
It's one thing to say "this is the type of music I like, and this album
doesn't sound like that, so I don't like it," and a completely different
thing to say "i like this type of music, and this artist doesn't make it
[anymore], therefore this artist's music is complete shit and no one else
should buy it because my opinion qualifies for everyone!"
