You have a good point, but the following line that I included in my original
post: "a place where people can discuss the music of Aphex Twin, Boards of
Canada, Squarepusher, and the like" is just a general description of what
goes on here ("and the like" being the key phrase here). It'd take way more
patience than I have to list all of the other artists that are discussed
here besides the ones I mentioned... there are just too many.
Looking back through the tons archives, the artists you mentioned (B.
Fleischmann, Solvent, Arovane, Prefuse 73) are discussed very very regularly
here, so I guess that I'm not seeing what your gripe is about... Was it just
a general one saying that ppl on-list should stop talking about Aphex or BoC
or squarepusher, or is that you feel other artists in the same genre
(more-or-less) should be talked about more?
