You have a good point, but the following line that I included in my original post: "a place where people can discuss the music of Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Squarepusher, and the like" is just a general description of what goes on here ("and the like" being the key phrase here). It'd take way more patience than I have to list all of the other artists that are discussed here besides the ones I mentioned... there are just too many. Looking back through the tons archives, the artists you mentioned (B. Fleischmann, Solvent, Arovane, Prefuse 73) are discussed very very regularly here, so I guess that I'm not seeing what your gripe is about... Was it just a general one saying that ppl on-list should stop talking about Aphex or BoC or squarepusher, or is that you feel other artists in the same genre (more-or-less) should be talked about more? eh??? I don't get it. -somrux. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shane Beers" <sbeers@agencyultra.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Wednesday, October 31, 2001 9:47 AM Subject: [idm] Get over the old music.
