I would love to hear some opinions on the new Fennesz
"Endless Summer."
It is an interesting "guitar-based" gitchwork
soundscape. Different from other minimal musicians in
that the guitar is a "warm" tonal instrument.
Gas "Pop" I absolutely love.
It was a Pitchforkmedia.com 2000 year end favorite as
well. Listening to it reminds me of a big wind tunnel
with distant/consistent beat and foreign soft sounds
thrown into the hurricane. Awesome dyanamics and very
emotive for a minimalist piece.
The Luomo I have is "Multila" which got a great deal
of praise....personally I find it a bit
undeveloped....but that is fine since it goes into the
"dusty background" section of my collection.
Anybody?
