LFO's "LFO" on vinyl.
After that I remember seeing Warp's name regularly popping up in NME's
Top 40 singles list each week. The Chart Show (Saturday morning music
video show) also regularly featured an Indie Top 10 and the likes of
Tricky Disco, Sweet Exorcist, LFO and Nightmares on Wax regularly
appeared on it.
LFO's "Frequencies" and Nightmares on Wax's "A Word of Science" were
the first full-length Warp albums I bought and they (amongst a few
other artists, such as 808 State and the Orb) completely changed the
way I thought about music.
From that moment on, buying every single new release on Warp became a
matter of habit, which I've kept up to this day.
