Most largely, I must (sadly) agree with this statement, Lance. I really adore Drome(d), as well as all the Nonplace UF stuff I could lay my hands on. I have recently had the chance to purchase Con Ritmo, but after a quick listen, decided not to. Likewise, Just Landed is "nice" in a not-too earth shattering way. But I have JUST obtained "plays love songs" which I find outstanding. I've played the entire thing three times over, non stop, and it's still going strong! Maybe the reason is that these tracks stem from "pre-1996-2000", in other words, from the older period when he was making the music I loved, and which he's now apparently moved away from. But I'd like to recommend this album to anybody who's even vaguely a Friedman fan; the man's full of interesting ideas. (Unlike Just Landed, which is dubby and pleasant, but not exactly eclectic or innovative). All of this ***imo*** :-) I * --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
