Even a great album can get boring really fast if you listen to it enough..... BUT, there are always those that remain timeless, those that you can listen to 6-7 years later and still feel it. For me, out of all the albums I have EVER owned, "I Care Because You Do" by Aphex Twin takes the cake. I dont know what it is, I remember getting it when it first came out at the wee age of 15....sitting in my bedroom listening to it with my blue lights on... Maybe its all the care-free nights my friend and I spent listening to it religiously, smoking the green and eating "shrooms", dropping acid...drinking...and not even thinking about work and responsibility...all the crap you get when you "grow up" I dont know really, but ever since I got it in 1995 its always aroused that same handful of mixed emotion. Every now and again I get together with that friend and we smoke a little green, try and pretend were still young and careless, then we hop in the car and I slip in a little I.C.B.Y.D....and we both just chill. How about you? Whats your timeless pick? xh ===== Kounterakt in constant evolution.http://www.kounterakt.cjb.net ("Industrial",Rock, Experimental, I.D.M., DnB hybrid craziness)Circle Of Anxietyhttp://www.cofanx.cjb.net(should appeal to fans of all sorts of I.D.M.) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
