Have to admit about The Box of Orbital...
Track 7. on Surfing on Sinewaves (Polygon Window)
Psy 9 of Air Liquide but the 12" verion... very important because there is a
"blank" right in the middle of the track which is SO important that is not
on the CD version...
There was also a track of I (Atom Heart) live somewhere (can't remember...
my record has been stolen) on an old Trance compilation of Rising High...

What are some tracks that make you feel so small and insigificant like you
have been ingulfed by them and they won't let you out? :)
Two I can think of right now:
Orbital - The Box (long version/parts 1-4): This is such an amazing tune, my
favorite part starts at about 9:05. I can listen to this track all day long.
Not so much IDM but, John Digweed - Heaven Scent: This track definatly makes
me feel like I'm surrounded.
Well it sounded like a good topic when I thought of it I just wish I could
have thought of some better examples. So what are your favorite 'epic'
tracks?
