I've never done one of Pauline's workshops, but I know her and Stewart
Dempster personally & seen the Deep Listening Band on numerous occasions.
(And, actually, I'm a little amazed at most of the the IDM-sters ignorance of
their work over the last 10 years -- I guess until it's in Wire it doesn't
count as IDM, eh?)
If you want to learn to be conscious of the human body as sound receptor and
how to reflect that knowledge in your own music, she's probably a good teacher
for you.
If you just want to drop a tab of e and swing your glowsticks, you can
probably find a better use of your money. (Just think of how many visors and
wide-leg pants you could buy with $250!!! The mind boggles!)
