Having seen the Quinoline Yellow live a couple of times, I must say that
their stuff really kicks some serious ass. Stylistically it fits in quite
well with the old-schoolish Skam sound although still being relatively
upbeat. Definitely the most interesting new artist in my book, being
addicted to the melodious but dark stuff in the same vein as Alder and
Elius etc...
Do they have any releases? I've heard that they have something coming out
on Skam this summer? Considering the overall high quality of recent Skam
releases (Team Doyobi 12"+cass, Alder & Elius LP/7", Bola 12") I must say
that QY would fit well into that bill...
