Well, the first one was kinda dumb, although it was just him sharing what he thought was a joke. He got permission for the slew between him and Warp, though - if you read through the whole thing you see it asked and given.

I don't think he's talking about their IDM-l cred, I think he's talking about Warp's continued rise on a larger scale. Like, his view has been that the continued onslaught of releases doesn't matter to the average population of indie people when the artists continue to be so inaccessible. I don't know or care whether that's true or not, but his beef isn't with Warp's release schedule, but rather the image they regularly employ (and have since the beginning) of mechanical music shamens revered from afar. Doesn't quite jibe with the typical hip-hop way of doing things, where they are now getting their feet wet as they continue to grow and expand. I think Cex is generally wrong and over-reacting in his view of "laptop music vs. real people music"; but that's his thing and he's going with it.
