THE 'DRUKQS' WORK
APHEX TWIN's new album is called 'DRUKQS' and is to be released in
mid-October by WARP RECORDS - and NME.COM has been given an world
exclusive preview of the groundbreaking release.
The 30-track double-CD and quadruple-vinyl album, which was mastered at
the end of June, is the capricious London-based electronics pioneer's
first release since March 1999's Top 20 'Windowlicker' single, and is
his first album since November 1996's 'Richard D James' LP.
A single featuring new material not on the album is expected to precede
'Drukqs'.
Over 90 minutes in length, 'Drukqs' is Richard James' most diverse,
audacious and accomplished collection to date. The full double-CD
