Thought the show was fantastic. To begin with The 13Th Floor is one of my
favourite venues, the best skyline view of Baltimore anywhere. SK & EB set
was some minimal soundscapes w/ clarinet. Next came Diskette with a cool
experimental like fractured beat & noise set. ENE who I had neither seen
nor met before this show (from Richmond) played a damn good set. While did
great as well, playing more soft melodies circa the Even & Slip
releases. Was good to see lots of the old aquatences, and even met a few
new interesting people into experiemntal/IDM. I heard this might be a test
show for more experiemental performances at 13th Floor. I hope they were
satisfied and will welcome more show of this sort. The crowd was half the
upscale normal 13th Floor attendees & half people into this sorta
music. Overall it seemed like everyone was digging it.
