...and don't really hear how it's supposed to be cold or
unapproachable. I reckon that opening track in particular is just
beautiful, and so much more accessible than any of eg. 'Cichli Suite'
or 'EP7'.
Not sure if I want to buy the album, but I did like what I heard.
A totally un-rhetorical question for those who found this cold and/or
inaccessible: have you heard what Coil or Farmers Manual have
been doing over the past 4-5 years? Or any of the stuff released on
labels like eg. 12k or Ritornell?
I'm curious to know because I find all of that stuff more work to
digest than 'Confield'. Not that that has anything to do with the
relative merits of the material... nor do I even want to discuss that.
