does anyone besides myself find it odd that astralwerks is issuing
krautrock reissues???
i mean, i think it is a great idea. fantastic, but very strange.
i don't want to start the whole krautrock thread here, but i find
neu! to be highly overrated. especially their 'experimental
electronic' stuff which is complete rubbish. but the first album and
half of the second are good krautrock, not nearly the best though.
and actually the french stuff is crazier than the germans', but...
if you like stereolab, you would probably like neu!. especially
since stereolab basically nicked neu!'s sound and updated it a bit.
