I think Slint was pretty open about the influence of _Red_-era Crimson on
their sound (or maybe it was Rodan... eep). It might be a stretch to
say that the entire post-rock "movement" owes something to the group,
but on the other hand, you'd do a disservice to ignore it.

Yeah, you might be surprised about how much they rocked, especially
considering the average beard length/astigmatism of their followers.
