I've been listening to Go Plastic for a little while too and I'm loving it. I don't quite see where you are coming from in thinking its closest related to MIRON. To me, its sort of like a combination of Big Loada and the better sounds of Selection Sixteen. Basically, this album is fucking OUT OF CONTROL! I mean that in the best way possible too. I totally agree about it sounding better the more you listen to it. I guess most music is like that for me, but the first time I took a listen, I wasn't that into it. My Red Hot Car is a catchy fun song, but I'm way more into the ridiculous drum n bass stuff on this cd. "Bonneville Occident" never fails to knock me on my ass. That breakdown that happens like two and a half minutes into the song RULES THE SCHOOL! Also dig the classic Tom J. melody going on in "The Exploding Psychology". Overall the album rules, but that track "Greenways Trajectory" kinda sucks. -Aaron ----- Original Message ----- From: Ben Kirkley <ben.kirkley@displaypost.co.uk> Date: Wednesday, May 23, 2001 1:08 pm Subject: [idm] Squarepusher - Go Plastic
