Actually I think 'The Number of Magic' is less trancey, in the sense that all the tracks are not interwoven and carry a continuous theme the way they do on 'Virtual State'. Virtual State tells one long story where all the songs bleed into each other, Number of Magic is 9 or 10 seperate and distinct tracks. With that said Number of Magic rocks, and has all the serenity, funk and tribal sample flavors that Virtual State does. They came out back to back and not for far apart from each other, I consider them almost a pair. Whoever the orginal poster was, definitely pick up The Number of Magic, it's great.
