I was in London a few months ago, and while checking out shoes on Oxford
street, as one does, I noticed that without exception, every single store was
playing 2 step. It was for the mostpart rather soulful, like smoothed out Drum
n Bass with some decent singers. London seems to work its way through a musical
fad in about 6 months, but people seemed to be diggin it.
I've always felt its a return of the ever bubbling-under-the-surface UK Soul,
thoughts anyone?
