merchandise/paraphenilia such as t-shirts, iron-on patches, buttons (for my
IDM jean jacket), posters, zippo lighters, baseball caps (or more likely
berets), and maybe even coffee mugs. Please don't direct me to commercial
sellout record label sites such as Warp, Rephlex, Plus 8, etc. I am looking
for obscure shit. I want names that norms can't pronounce! None of this
Plaid, Autechre, Kit Clayton commercial shit. The IDM scene is dying a slow
death. No scene can survive without ... posers!>>

I can't answer most of your questions, but I heard there's an email
discussion group somewhere devoted to the topic of IDM. You might want to
find this underground society, if you can, and email them your questions.
But I *can* help you on the beret tip... There's a good selection at
http://www.villagehatshop.com/hats_berets.html . In my opinion the
Parkhurst Pointelle in red is the most IDM of the selected berets. One size
fits most! I wear mine whenever I participate in IDM-related events, i.e.,
sitting in my bedroom by myself with the stereo on, masturbating
periodically. It just doesn't get any more underground than that. I wish

ps. Right on with the poser bashing! Posers suck! So does sarcasm! Thinly
veiled sarcasm sucks too!
