If pre-loveless is "early" does that make Loveless "mid period" and their Wire cover "late"? I still find Loveless to be pretty disapppointing, especially after the Glider e.p. was such a major step ahead of the "other" Creation e.p.s. That and the Tremelo e.p. (referred to earlier as "Honey Power" after the first track) were much better releases than Loveless, IMO. But still (as I repeatedly mention on countless mailing lists), you have to contend with Sunny Sundae Smile, Ecstacy, Strawberry Wine, the New Record..., Geek- no mean feat. Let's not piss on these records just because they don't live up Eno-fed hype, ai'ight? -rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
