yes, you're right. it's not possible that i just don't like it because it's
not to my taste. it must be something wrong with me. i must listen to it
again.
look, i like subtle stuff like that, but there's just so much of it right
now that phonem's stuff didn't strike me as worth a purchase when i already
have two or three similar ablums - i'm saving my money for the next
freeform, autechre and plaid. ok, ok, so they're all relatively big names -
but they all have a unique, terrific "sound," and that's sorta what I'm
looking for at the moment.
but i will give phonem more listens, as i was going to anyway, just like i
did to jamie lidell's muddlin gear - i certainly grew to like that!
