I don't have an issue with whether WMAs are better than Mp3s or vice versa.. (of course, folks here who have bought Mp3 file format dependent hardware might very well be troubled by this..), but that many BigBusiness'es are afraid of an "unprotected" music file format dominating the scene. Especially now, I trust Big Music Industry's intentions as much as I trust Weiland to give up smack once and for all... Which is all really silly, as net connections will probably improve within the next decade to allow folks to send uncompressed CD quality data over net lines anyway.... that is unless "they" have a problem with allowing that. This is all making me dizzy. Stop the ride... please. ======================================================================= Brian MacDonald <brianm@kuci.org> ======================================================================= --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
