I respectfully disagree--Plaid were among the first to bring humor into the genre, and their Undoneson EP is still one of my favorites. Who could listen to "Gel Lab" and not be in awe? Plus, their melodic remixes of other artists' work are well worth tracking down. I still can't believe those Balil tracks on the second disc of Trainer came out in '92--they sound a lot like Vibert's most recent work. I just wish their Web site weren't quite so bandwidth-intensive... On the Pole side, as much as I love one, I just couldn't get into 2 and 3. Go figure... Regards, Jacob
