hi,
regardless of whatever was said in the original thread by chad from
twine.... i can't help but find it inappropriate that any "professional"
music distributor would go out of their way to dig up a thread from a
subscription-based forum, take one post out of context, and post it as an
"album description" when they were probably sent information from the record
label intended for that purpose. Besides neglecting to provide any
applicable content about the release, it also potentially hurts the record
label, Hefty, which has a variety of good releases (twine included).
god forbid anyone should express an opinion, regardless of how outlandish
that opinion may or may not seem, and then have it put on display as if it
was intended be an announcement of self-greatness to all music consumers.
Because honestly, considering the amount of slagging and bickering on this
list, i find it hard to believe that anyone here can hold one solitary post
against an otherwise talented act.
I guess the moral is that everyone should be more careful, because you never
know if the next post you make will end up on Forced Exposure some day.
(the only reason i post this is because this is about the 10th time it's
come up in the last few months.)

p.s. while not entirely similar, i find a certain amount of similarity
between fennesz and pita, and merzbow and each of those, on a case by case
basis only of course. anyway, lumping all merzbow together in a comparison
is pretty broad....
