If you can find a SPCH 10000 Japanese PS2 with the 1.0 DVD drivers (stored on
the memory card) you can watch any region DVD's. However, these are extremely
rare now, and you would pay an arm and a leg. It would be cheaper to buy a
region-specific DVD player for the region you want instead.
