Things to do in NY end of April - beginning of May, record stores with electronic music

I will be in NY for the first time end of April (April 26th-May 5th).
Who can recommend me some record stores with a good selection of electronic music (preferably that carry CD's).
Also any concerts, venues, alternative places, things to see and do anything is of help.
