What did you last hear about? After the 'Biokinetics' album on Chain Reaction and the self titled album on Force Inc, there was another 12" called 'Trident' on Force Inc. English industrial dub nutters Techno Animal remixed a track of theirs for 'Techno Animal vs Reality' released on City Slang. (The release is credited as a Techno Animal release). This is according to the press release for the single, as found on www.fe.org. On the full length album I think Porter Ricks then remixed Techno Animal's remix of them. Somewhere in here there was a remix of American band Low, included on a remix album 'Owl' put out by Vernon Yard. Last year there was the collab album with Techno Animal (already mentioned) 'Symbiotics', on Force Inc. That was basically an extension of the above concept - both bands submitting raw sounds to the other, and having them make tracks out of each others materials. Most recently there's that Nine Inch Nails remix already mentioned. Thomas Koener has done at least one album since either of the purely Porter Ricks full lengths, as has Andy Mellwig as Async Sense. Without meaning to sound unfairly dismissive, I don't like anything I've heard from them since their Chain Reaction days, so I can't give any comments on any of the above except "I've stopped bothering to check their stuff out at all".
