I keep listening to 'Freak N You' off the Matmos / Motion split 12 on Fat
Cat. I'm sure it's highly unlikely, but there's no other Matmos material
out there like this, is there?
It's basically really chopped house stuff (to the extent that it hardly
ever has the old four to the floor), but it's got stabbing sampled chords,
someone singing "feeling freaky" and I think it's really funky. I like that
it's totally twisted, but doesn't have a menacing vibe. It's fun chaos. :-)
Anyway, I take it the Rachel's collab is not the place to look... ;-)
