I think they could stream (using realaudio as they currently do) about 60
(maybe more) simulataneous listeners off a dedicated T1 for about
$600-$800/month in a co-lo facility if you admin your own box. But you really
need two machines, one to run the website, one to run the real server and hold
the archived sets.
But the kicker is having enough bandwidth to go from the studio to the server
to do the live part, I assume the studio serves another money-making business
purpose? So probably has some kind of DSL type connection, if not then the rent
on the studio and connection to the server is another cost....
