I've never viewed modulars as anything more than an expensive hobby. And a never-ending rabbit hole I can't afford to go down because I'm more in love with sound than music.

my impression is that people who own modulars think music made on modulars is the most amazing thing ever and since 1/2 of the people who listen to idm apparently own modulars its self sustaining:)
