actually i got nothing against anticon ... i have a couple of their
albums and i think they're okay ... i fully agree with their sentiment
that hip-hop needs to be pushed in new directions and i appreciate their
efforts to do so. dose one's solo joint is quite remarkable, but aside
from that i think they are pretty overrated. as far as pushing boundaries
of hip-hop, i seriously think company flow pushes alot harder than
anticon. and the linda tripp track is just so goddamn RUTHLESS.
i definitely agree that to call them "the best thing going in hip-hop" is
reaching, but it is (as we have to reiterate so often on this list) a
subjective matter.
i want to be down.
