You might as well say all string instruments are dead, or percussion
instruments are dead. I might agree that majority of rock music nowadays
suck. But it's all about being creative about what you are doing. IDM is
dead yo! All this shit is starting to sound the same. I can't really say
that though, beacuse there's so many people making music now that it all
starts to sound bland. Ahhh...but then you have artists that stick out like
a sore thumb, not intentionally trying not to sound like whomever, but
sounding different than what's out there because that's just what they're
mind is creating. (ie (in my opinion) phoenecia, scott heren,
arovane...etc.)
Props to anyone out there that still incorporate acoustic instruments in
their music. Keepin' it real!
