OK, I knew someone would quote that little bit and so I just want to
qualify that, personally, I *do* like recent releases in the
"melody/AI" style by places like merck, pitchcadet, isophlux, etc.
etc. - i just think that maybe some people who are complaining that
melody is gone are buying the wrong music, and that those of you who
might be complaining the reverse, might also be buying the wrong
music. Maybe you should exchange music collections and you'd all be
happy.
Me, I spend too much money getting *everything* because I like it all
(except the minimalist stuff - I got bored with all of that very
quickly)
- everything from merck's Aurora comp to tigerbeat6's attitude comp
to EP7 to Polygon Window ... though I could do without pretty much
anything to come out of Mille Plateaux.

PS - you know what I love about this list? You guys all know what I
just said without me putting in quotes and parenthesis to explain it.
PPS - hey Cex, I just recently sampled your tigerbeat6 album, thanks
to the samples you guys have on the web site, and I really like what
I hear (liked your 7" too, on ... what was it, 555?) ... anyway, I'm
low on funds right now. care to send me a freebie? :p
np: Cujo - Adventures In Foam ... talk about old, "outdated" music,
but I love it.
