No, I'd say this particular song sounds very similar to what Autechre did on
Chiastic Slide, though in Fizzarum style...

Their full album on Domino containing the Vesat track you mentioned is
indeed a unique and absolutely brilliant mastrepiece of idm in its best.
This particular track is like a reminder of their roots... 8) The whole
album sounds different from this track yet has the same feeling of complex
melodies and science fiction Ae once had...
If you could listen to their older live set you would not find anything
similar to Ae and that live was a basis for album on Domino as they told
once in the mail to me.

btw. The live set had much more inserts from the famous Soviet science
fiction cartoon "The Secret of the third planet" than the album on Domino...
