Greetings From Birmingham is the new album.
Mick Harris has been stuck in that dub rut for so long (in terms of his
Scorn stuff- Logghi Barogghi, that live album Whine) that I wasn't expecting
anything different in this new release. But I have to say it's not bad. I
don't think he'll ever sound like he did back in Scorn's glory days of
Colossus and Evenescence (I wonder to what extent Nicholas James Bullen had
to do with how great they were), but the album is better than I expected.
Some of the same dub he's been doing, but some really heavy plodding and
sometimes screachy darness all the way around.
