I'm not very up on the history of house and I don't listen to much
(trad) house, but I get the impression that the "snare rush" is a
commonly/overly used sort of building up technique used in house/club
tracks .
There's a really funny Chaos AD track where he's like "Here comes another
fucking snare rush. How fucking exciting !" or something like that.
