to put it simply, reaktor kicks ass. Not only can you make everything yourself, but you can set the knob parameters. In effect, its a free formed sound universe. (almost, pretty damn close)....it is a bit difficult, but w/ the help menus and plenty of tinkering it's some serious shit. Just listen to those kid 606 ripping distortions for example....gotta love it.
